Back again for 2023, this popular members only event will feature a local chef and wine maker in a delicious pairing of food and wine to tantalize your taste buds and delight your spirit!
Please join us for a food and wine pairing education session hosted at Casque Wines in collaboration with Chef Annalise and Satticus Cellars. Luxury private Chef Annalise and Satt Bains from Satticus Cellars will walk us through an exquisite food and wine pairing, with high quality locally sourced dished prepared by Chef Annalise and award winning wines from Satticus Cellars!!
This will be a great event to learn how to match your taste of wine to the food you enjoy eating. As of now, the current line-up of wines that will be poured are: Grenache Blanc, Syrah, Primitivo, and Malbec, which are all locally sourced in Placer County!
The session will start at 6:00 pm for welcoming, a brief social and announcements. The presentation will start immediately thereafter. Given the nature of this educational event, there will be no prolonged “social hour”.
Due to limited seating, at this time this event is for PCWGA members and guests (dues must be current).

Chef Annalise has studied culinary arts and hospitably management and is a private chef for several local celebrities, including some of the Sacramento Kings players. Armed with a love for creating, Annalise sought out opportunities to work with some of the best personal chefs of Norther California before starting her own personal chef business. Featuring seasonal products from Placer County and surrounding regions, she provides approachable, fine dining cuisines to the greater Sacramento area.
Satticus Cellars is an award-winning boutique winery that offers an exquisite selection of craft wines made from small lot vineyards in Placer County. In just a few short years since its inception in 2017, the winery has garnered numerous accolades for its wines, including several double golds, golds, and silver awards from regional competitions, including North America’s largest, the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.
