Annual Home Winemaker Competition
The Annual Home Winemaker’s Competition is open to members of the Placer County Wine & Grape Association, and home winemakers in our region. Entries are limited to wines produced by amateur winemakers. An amateur is considered 1) a person who does not work in a professional wine-producing capacity, or 2) a person who is not an owner of a commercial winery.
The PCWGA is an active part of a community of local resources for supporting our region’s wine makers.
On June 14th, we hosted an education session devoted to addressing how best to create your own wine style in practice and through the choice of fermentation yeast. We were joined by a representative from Scott Labs
